What We Stand For

At Edgeview Hills Academy, we offer an inclusive and well-rounded education for learners from Grade 8 to 12, including those enrolled in the Matric Re-write programme. With specialised classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, libraries, and technology-driven learning, our students benefit from a modern and engaging educational experience.

Our Facilities

A Home for Learning, Growth, and Achievement

At Edgeview Hills Academy, we provide a dynamic learning environment for both day scholars and boarding learners, offering modern facilities that support academic excellence and personal growth. Our specialised classrooms, fully equipped laboratories, libraries, and advanced educational technology ensure that every learner has access to the tools needed for success. Beyond the classroom, we balance academics with a strong emphasis on sport and cultural activities, giving learners the opportunity to develop holistically. Whether on the sports field, in cultural pursuits, or within our structured boarding community, each learner is guided to discover their strengths, grow their talents, and prepare for life beyond school.

Our Offering

Empowering Learners, Inspiring Success

We balance academic excellence with sport and cultural activities, ensuring that learners are not only well-prepared for exams but also for life beyond school. Whether as day scholars or boarders, our learners are guided to discover their strengths, grow their talents, and build their futures.

Our school offers a comprehensive curriculum from Grade 8 to Grade 12, as well as a dedicated Matric Re-write programme for learners who wish to improve their results. With modern teaching methods, specialised classrooms, and supportive educators, we ensure that every learner is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed academically and in life beyond school.

Learners benefit from a wide range of subjects designed to provide both academic depth and practical skills. Our curriculum includes English, Afrikaans/Portuguese/Siswati, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Economic & Management Sciences, Arts & Culture, Technology, Computer Applications Technology (Grades 10–12 only), and Life Orientation. Through modern resources such as laboratories, libraries, and educational technology, learners are empowered to achieve excellence.

We believe in developing well-rounded learners, which is why our school offers a variety of sports to promote teamwork, discipline, and healthy living. Learners can participate in soccer, netball, and swimming, with opportunities to build both skill and character while representing the school with pride.

Cultural activities play a vital role in nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and leadership. Learners are encouraged to join the Debate Club, where they sharpen their communication and reasoning skills, and the Chess Club, which builds focus, strategy, and problem-solving. Both activities develop confidence and prepare learners for success beyond the classroom.

Our boarding facilities provide a safe and structured environment where learners can focus on their studies while enjoying a strong sense of community. With caring staff supervision, comfortable living spaces, and access to all school resources, boarders experience a true “home away from home.” Both full-time and weekly boarding options are available, making it convenient for families while ensuring learners are supported academically and socially.

Our Code of Conduct upholds the values of respect, discipline, and responsibility that are essential for a safe and positive learning environment. It guides learners in their behaviour, relationships, and commitment to excellence, ensuring that everyone contributes to a culture of success.
